RUGER, Jacob Capt.
Looking for information on the children of Jacob Ruger b. 11 December 1835, d.1916. Jacob and his brother Charles came to the United States in 1853. Jacob married Narcissa Burcham. They had 9 children that I know of: Emma b.1857, Rose b.1860 d. 1872, Franka b. 1862 d. 1947, Pearl b. 1867, Kittie b. 1874, John A. b. 1876, Leona b. 1879, and Roderick R. b. 1883. (One child probably died at birth.) All the children were born in Momence, Illinois.
John A. Ruger was married to Maud E. and Roderick R. Ruger was married to Myrtle.
Jacob also served as Treasurer of Kankakee County beginning 4 March 1892.
If anyone has information on any of the children and their families, I would greatly appreciate sharing that information.
