St. Mary of Vernon Church is a Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
St. Mary of Vernon Church was created after a population growth in the area in the 1970s. Prior to the creation of the church, parishioners went to Santa Maria del Popolo in Mundelein or St. Joseph in Libertyville. Early masses, which began in 1978, were held in a school cafeteria. The parish was officially established in 1979. The parish includes all of Vernon Hills and Indian Creek, and parts of Mundelein, Long Grove, and Prairie View. The church now has its own building.
St. Mary of Vernon has a website that you can visit for more information about the parish.
