[Page 110] J. M. FERRELL - Station agent at Marseilles. Born in Bronson, Michigan, May 29, 1862, son of Abel and Mary (FREE) FERRELL. When a boy moved with parents from Michigan to Indiana. When older, worked for railroad, first in 1879 for the Grand Rapids & Indiana R. R. In same year, for the Baltimore & Ohio R. R., going to Mansfield, Ohio, and later at Walkerton, Indiana. In 1882 went to Cameron, Missouri and in 1892 to Marseilles. Mr. FERRELL was married at Unionville, Iowa to Miss Belle PETERSON, of that place.
