Letitia Green Stevenson Library - Our chapter maintains the Letitia Green Stevenson NSDAR Library. It is located at the McLean County Historial Museum in Bloomington, Illinois. Our collection of books is maintained in conjunction with the libraries of The McLean County Historical Society and The McLean County Genealogical Society. Stevenson Graves at Evergreen Cemetery - The Stevenson family has brought honor to McLean County for three generations. Buried here are Adlai I, Vice President for Grover Cleveland, and Adlai II, who was Governor of Illinois, Ambassador to the United Nations, and twice Democratic candidate for the United States Presidency. Also buried here are Adlai's wife, Letitia Green Stevenson, who was the second national President General of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) from 1893-1895 and 1896-1898. Her sister, Julia Green Scott, was the seventh national President General of the DAR from 1909-1913. Evergreen Cemetery is located at 302 E. Miller Street in Bloomington, Illinois.
