May Meeting

On May 10, 2012, Tom Pearson, Reference Librarian in the Special Collections Department of the St. Louis Public Library, gave a a presentation on Finding Death & Burial Information for American Soldiers & Veterans, 1775-2012.

Tom talked about the different types of records available and the sources one can search for these various records. He had handouts which spelled out all these record types and sources. The handout also contains an expansive list of websites that can be used to search for death and burial information for American soldiers and veterans. This interesting presentation was well received and generated quite a few questions and comments from the audience.
