On May 9, 2013, Larry Darnell presented a program titled, Lost and Found: Your Adoption Search.
Searching for biological parents, siblings, or children following an adoption event can be a difficuilt if not impossible task. Belleville native, Larry Darnell, shared strategies and resources for adoptees and birth parents to find their biological relatives, along with his personal experiences researching his own biological lineage.
Mr. Darnell has a 30 year carer in Information Technology and has been actively researching and documenting his family history for the past 15 years. He also maintains the SCCGS facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SCCGS.
This presentation was very well attended, very well received, and produced several questions from the audience.
