BURGET, VIOLA SPOONS

Viola Burget, 88, of Beardstown died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at Heritage Manor South in Beardstown. She was born Oct. 8, 1913, in Concord, the daughter of Dell Issac and Blanche Lottie Hopper Spoons. She married Carl Henry Burget in 1930 in Beardstown; he preceded her in death in 1981. An infant son, Carl Dell Burget, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Burget attended Beardstown High School and was a member of First Christian Church in Beardstown.

Survivors: four sons, Tom (wife, Judy) and Bob (wife, Carol) Burget, and Jim (wife, Norma Jean) and Jerry (wife, Peg) Burgett, all of Beardstown; two daughters, Blanche (husband, Charles) Long of Spring Hill, Fla., and Dorothy (husband, Eugene) Riggall of Lakeland, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Friday, Beardstown City Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
