Stan & Jeanie Lowe along with their goddaughter, Brianna Boggs, and her friend, Merissa Richards, re-read this cemetery on 19 Jan 2004. They took pictures of the stones they found, but the frozen ground made probing impossible. They plan to return to search for more stones when warmer weather returns.
The Cass County Historical & Genealogical Society has published a number of
cemetery transcription books. Cooper Cemetery is included in the Ashland Township Cemeteries Book.
