This cemetery is in the very northwest corner of Rubicon Township, where four townships meet. It is on the south side of the road. Stock graze on the site.
From the Gazette-Patriot, Carrollton, IL, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002 - from an article dealing with Greene County Days.
This small family cemetery, which is located on the Robert Pembrook farm, dates from 1864. Descendants of some of the people buried there later came from the St. Louis area and fenced the cemetery, which remains in fair condition.
