CARROLLTON - Mrs. Dovie Anderson Bryant, 66, of Carrollton died at her residence Sunday ( July 10, 1977).

She was born November 6, 1910, in Arkansas, daughter of Samuel and Susan Hamm Walker.

The deceased was twice married. She first married Harry Anderson who preceded her in death in 1967. She later married Clifton Bryant of Carrollton, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rosie Newton of Eldred; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mildred Fitscher of Buffalo, New York,; and two step-sons, Lynn Anderson of Bethalto and Harry F. Anderson of Meadow Brook. There are nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Three sisters survive: Mrs. Elease Hope of Montana, Mrs. Georgia Selph of Arkansas, and Mrs. Stella Mae Talley of Missouri. There are four brothers: Dave Walker and Woodrow Walker and Zack Walker of Texas. One sister, May Bell Dunham, preceded in death in 1976.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mehl Funeral Home in Carrollton with interment in Borlin cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
