Erwin Cemetery
Kane Township - Greene County, Illinois
Erwin Cemetery is located on the Leo Godar farm in Kane Township. The burials
are just east of Illinois Route 267 and one-fourth mile north of Macoupin Creek.
Two old cedar trees are nearby. Mrs. Leo Godar, the former Dorothy Hansen, was raised
on a nearby farm and remembers that the cemetery once contained 25 to
30 tombstones.
