This burial site is about two miles directly south of the settlement of Woody and is on the west side of the road. It is about one mile northeast of the Woodville township Hall.

Location: Section 12 (southeast quarter), Township 9 North, Range 13 West, 3PM.

SHORT, Laurie (Fry) ca 1840 ca 1876 36y Wife of W.T. Short (Probably Laura A. Fry, born
in Greene Co., IL, a sister of James Fry. She lived in 
or near Cass Co., MO on 5 Jan 1873. Whether she
was buried in Fry Cem. Or in Missouri has not been
determined. The marker is home-made. It is a flat,
irregularly shaped piece of cement, with the name
scratched in with a stick and could have been placed
here in remembrance.)
