This small burial ground is located 1 1/2 miles northeast of Hettick and about 100
yards southeast of the intersection of Route 111 and Dover Lane. During the winter and early
spring before vegetation grows too high, it is easy to spot the lone stone out in the field if you
are watching for it. According to the listing, there were two other children also buried in this spot however,
we were unable to locate any kind of stone or marker for thse children. There is no fence around
the stone, but it is surrounded by masses of what appear to be lilys. The top of the spire has toppled
off the base and was lying on the ground right in front of the base. Although Earl wrestled the spire
upright for picture taking, it would take several men and equipment to level the base and reset this stone.
