OAK HILL CEMETERY
MACOUPIN COUNTY ILLINOIS

   

I completed my reading of this cemetery during September 2004. For those researchers who find family members buried in this cemetery, Velma A. Sonneborn published a book "Oak Hill Cemetery Record and Genealogical Data" in 1983. For most of the individuals listed here (listed in 1983) she included parents and spouse names. In addition, she tracked many many of the family members of those buried here and not only gives their vital information but also includes the cemetery where each is buried. Mrs. Sonneborn is now deceased I believe so I'm not sure whether there are copies of this book still available for purchase or not - perhaps the Macoupin Co. G. & H. Society would have that information.
