SHARP-BERRY CEMETERY
Macoupin County, Illinois
Sharp-Berry Cemetery is located in Scottville Township, Section 19, Macoupin County, Illinois. There were only two stones remaining in what is left of this cemetery on April 16, 2007 when Earl visited. To locate this cemetery, which is situated on private property, turn south from the Scotville-Roodhouse Road on to Mt. Zion Road. Drive for approximately 1/2 mile. The remaining stones stand behind a shed amid farm equipment. Most of the original burials in this cemetery were supposed to have been moved to the Scottville West Cemetery in years past, however a search of the list for that cemetery failed to find any of the burials not found here.
