Loretta Hayes, 81, of Greenfield dies; services Monday

GREEFIELD - Loretta Anne Hayes, 81, of Greenfield, died thursday, Nov. 4, at Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. She was born Dec. 22, 1900 near Greenfield, daughter of Michael and Anne Regington Hayes.

Survivors include two sisters, Miss Teresa Hayes and Miss Genevieve Hayes, and one brother, Charles R. Hayes, all of Greenfield.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

She was organist for St. Michael's Catholic Church in Greenfield for many years, a member of Greene County Home Extension and Catholic Daughters of America. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Hagaman. Memorials are suggested to the church building fund or the Heart Fund. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Shields Memorial Home in Greenfield, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
