Macoupin County, Illinois

Vancil Cemetery aka Moffet Cemetery is located about two miles north of Modesto, IL on the C. Warren Moffet farm. The late Mr. Moffet is a descendant of the Vancil family. The cemetery has a tall wrought iron fence surrounding it and it is located atop a knoll in a pasture north of the houses on the property. During the winter you can see the cemetery across the pasture from the Pulliam cemetery road.
