ISAAC C. STITH, of the firm of McDougall & Stith, Petersburg; is the son of Thomas M. and Susanna (Colson) Stith; he was born in this county March 11, 1848, and raised upon a farm, obtaining such education as could then be obtained. He married Miss Mary E. Hohimer, of this county, Jan. 25, 1871; she was born in this county April 8, 1849. They have a family of two children. For a time, Mr. Stith followed reaming in and about Petersburg, and in May 1878, engaged in the grocery business with his present partner. They are live business men, and keep none but the best grade of goods.
