Petersburg -- Lucille Irene Willis, 73, of Petersburg, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at 9:55 p.m. at Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg.

She was born February 27, 1932, in Petersburg, the daughter of Lloyd and Eliza Bergman Dick. She married Samuel Willis on November 8, 1948; he died in 1995. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Petersburg.

Surviving are four sons, Robert H. (Wife, Debra), Dennis S. (Wife, Terry), Edward L.(wife, Madonna), and Steve (wife, Nancy), Willis, all of Greenview; daughter, Debra (husband, Terry) Stark of Missouri; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Kodatt of Springfield and Alice Ritter of Mississippi.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 10 at First Baptist Church, Petersburg, the Revs Gene Blissett and Thomas Eggley officiated. Burial was in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg was in charge of arrangements.
