DORA TURNER BOLES

Mrs Dora Turner Boles, a longtime resident of the Petersburg community, died Wednesday morning, January 8 at Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since October 17. She was sixty two years old..

Mrs Boles was born in Illinois February 28, 1895, a daughter of John O and Mary Custer Turner. In February 1950, she was united in marriage with Charles Boles, a manual arts teacher, in Brownwood, Texas. They lived there for some time, later moving to Van Buren, Arkansas, where Mr Boles died in 1954.

For many years, Mrs Boles made her home with Iona Peterson, west of Petersburg and she was employed in the Robbins Company store here. She was a member of the First Christian church, the Iscah Class of that church and of the Rebecah Lodge.

Surviving is one sister Mrs Gifford Ortman of Petersburg and one half brother, Reuben Winters of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

The body is at the Satorius Funeral Home. Announcements regarding the date and time of funeral services will be made later.
