MISS ELEANOR MAE HOHIMER
Miss Eleanor Mae Hohimer, of 407 N. Fourth St., died at 10:10 a.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital, following a short illness. She was 29 years old.
She was born March 12, 1921, at Petersburg, and was a graduate of Petersburg Harris High school. She had resided in Springfield for the last six years. She was a member of the Christian church.
Miss Hohimer is survived by her mother, Mrs. Helen Hohimer, of Springfield; four brothers, Wayne, Oakford; Kenneth, Paul and Ronald, all of Springfield; five sisters, Kathryn, Atterberry; Mrs. Edythe Ishmael, Oakford; Barbara, Chicago, and Shirley and Linda, both of Springfield.
Remains were taken to the Vancil funeral home.
Note: Eleanor was the daughter of Helen Simons and Frank Hohimer. I have her death date as 8/27/1950.
