The funeral of Mrs J J Knoles, the only victim of Saturday evenings storm at Dewey was held at the Christian Church in this city at 11 o'clock this forenoon.

The remains accompanied by a number of relatives and friends of the deceased arrived over the Sante Fee, at 10:30. A Large number of the friends of the family were at the depot to meet the funeral party. They were driven to the church where the funeral services was conducted by Rev E J Stewart of the Baptist Church, the Christian minister being out of town. The music which was so appropriate to the occasion, was in charge of Mrs W A Kidd. After the services at the church, the remains accompained by many friends, of this city wre taken to the city cemetery where internment was made.

The pall bearers, were J W Davis, Walton Everman, A S Rupart, O D Huling and J A Solomon. One of the das features of the funeral wa the fact that the husband of the deceased could not be found and so nothing of his wifes death.

Those of her family who were present were her sisters, Medames Riley and Denton of Greennville, Ill, her daughter and family Mrs C Denton of Colony, Kansas, Robert McGary, and family of Independence, Mrs Widlick, a step daaughter, of Iola, and Mrs Elizabeth Eshelman of Dennis, Kansas and C L Esthleman and family .
