Mrs Clarissa Denton Sampson Dies in Denver Home
(April 8, 1853-Jan 16, 1941)

Word has been received by relatives here of the death of Mrs Clarissa Denton Sampson, which occurred on January 16, at her home in Denver. Mrs Sampson, who was eighty-eight years old, was a sister of Mrs A. R. Degge, whose death occured recently.

Mrs Sampson was bon here and spent the early years of her life in this community. Her husband, to whom she was married sixty-two years, died in 1933. Surviving are one son, John W Sampson and one daughter, Mrs Goldie Noble, both of Denver, and other more sidtant relatives.

Funeral services were held in Denver and burial was there.
