Mrs. Mary Williams dies here Sunday; rites on Tuesday

Mrs. Mary L. Williams, 96, died at the Barton W. Stone Christian Home at 7 p.m. Sunday. She was a long-time resident of Jacksonville.

Mrs. Williams was born Dec. 8, 1880, at Shoals, Ind., daughter of Anderson and Sarah Isabel Rutherford Gray. She married Henry Milton Williams Dec. 25, 1900, and he preceded in death Feb. 28, 1930. These daughters and son survive: Grace W. Duncan of jacksonville; Edna M. Johnson, Omaha, Nebr.; and Imogene Lamson of Newton, Ill.; and Robert Williams of Alexander. There are 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Three daughters and a son preceded in death.

Mrs. Williams was a member of the Berea Christian church and the Berea Ladies Aid, to which memorials are suggested.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Gillham-Buchanan Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Johns officiating. Interment will be in the Berea cemetery. The family will meet friends at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
