Marion M. Crouse
Marion M. Crouse, a long time resident of Murrayville, died Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the old homestead southeast of Murrayville, after a long illness of tuberculosis.
Mr. Crouse was born in Murrayville May 23, 1868. He was married Nov. 22, 1888, to Miss Mary E. Wyatt, who passed away Feb. 16, 1903. Since the death of his wife Mr. Crouse had been residing at St. Louis, his health not permitting him to continue farm life.
He is survived by six children, Harry, who is a member of the U.S. Navy at Newport, R.I.; Oland of Chicago; Ethel, Helen, Ralph and Eleanor all of Murrayville. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Crouse and one brother, D. J. Crouse of Murrayville.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the M.E. church in Murrayville in charge of the pastor, Rev. Edwin Gibson, and interment will be made in Bethel cemetery.
