Mary E. Elliott

CARLINVILLE-Mary E. Bull Elliott, 90, of Carlinville, formerly of Scottville, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Sunshine manor in Carlinville.

She was born Dec. 11, 1909, near Franklin, the daughter of John J. and Emma Spencer Bull. She married J. Lynn Elliott in 1939 in Bowling Green, Mo.; he preceded her in death in 1980.

Mrs. Elliott was a 1929 graduate of Scottville High School. She was a homemaker and was employed as a home health aide in Jacksonville.

She was a member of Heartland Community Church.

Survivors: a son, Jerry (wife, Darlene) Elliott of Carlinville; a daughter, Dawn Daley of Carlinville; two grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Mason of Harrisburg, N.C., and Pauline Leak of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Heinz Funeral Home in Carlinville, Charles Richison officiating. Burial: Bull Cemetery in Scottville.
