Mr. Lee Cox, one of the earliest settlers of our county, died of typhoid pneumonia at his home, on Sunday, 5th inst. The funeral services took place on the 7th inst., the discourse being delivered by Rev. E. Y. Rice, of Jacksonville. A large number of mourning friends and relatives followed the body to its final resting place in Scott's cemetery.
