CHILDERS, JAMES MONROE - Of R.R. 2, Loami, died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 1937, at residence, age 86 years. Survived by three sons, Isaac, Loami; Charles and John, Versailles; seven daughters, Mrs. Mae Woods, Waverly; Mrs. Margaret Lash, Franklin; Mrs. Ruth Flynn, Alexander; Mrs. Inez Flynn, Loami; Mrs. Lottie Combs, Carlinville; Mrs. Lucy Smith, Chicago; Miss Jane Childers, Chicago; forty-three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Remains to Vancil Funeral Home and will be removed at 4:30 p.m. Sunday to residence of daughter, Mrs. Woods, Waverly. Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sulphur Springs church, Rev. Mr. Sailor of Waverly officiating. Burial in Sulphur Springs cemetery.
