Wesley Cox, aged 50 years, died Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock. He has been for many years a resident of this county and was well known here. Four children survive him.

The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

The funeral of Wesley Cox was held Thursday afternoon at the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church east of Pisgah. Rev. Mr. Curry conducted the services, which were very brief. The interment was made in the church cemetery and the bearers were Will Cox, Clyde Cox, Ross Cox, John Davenport and Will Masters.
