Died at the home of his son-in-law, Lee Rector, in this city Thursday morning, at 8:50 "Doc" McLain, aged 67 years. He had been a resident of this city and vicinity for many years, and was a familiar figure on our streets, and well known throughout the county. He has long been a sufferer of kidney trouble, and for the past two or three months has been confined to his bed.

The funeral was held at the residence, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Wm. Hart, of Hartland, and interment in the Turner graveyard, west of town.
