Mrs. Margaret Turner, aged 82 years was found dead in her bed Sunday morning at the home of her son, James Turner south of Modesto. Coroner Karnes of Carlinville was called and the verdict was that death was caused by bronchial trouble and heart failure. Mrs. Turner is survived by six sons, Peter and George of California, Willis, Thomas, Joseph and Will near Modesto. The funeral was held Monday at 10 a.m. at the New Hope church southwest of this city, Rev. R. J. Watts, pastor of the M.E. Church, South, officiating. Interment was in teh Turner Cemetery southwest of town.
