MRS. CARRIE HILL DIES IN FLORIDA

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Hill, wife of T. C. Hill of Gainesville, Fla., were held in Florida Monday at 2 p.m. After cremation the ashes will be brought to Youngblood Cemetery at Nortonville. Mrs. Hill died April 12, at age of 89.

She was born in Morgan county Oct. 2, 1878, a daughter of David and Margaret McCurly Henry. On Feb. 13, 1898, she married T. C. Hill with whom she had grown up, both living in the Nortonville community. The couple observed their 70th wedding anniversary two months ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Wayne Hill of Gainesville; a daughter, Mrs. Winona Kink of New Jersey; one grandson, two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Kelly of Jacksonville.

Mr. and Mrs. Hill were both formerly members of Franklin chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
