Harvey L. Long

FRANKLIN - Harvey Leland Long, 71, of Franklin died Monday, June 25, 2001, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.

He was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Murrayville, the son of Javan Julius and Jennie Elizabeth Long.

Mr. Long was a retired farmer.

Survivors: a son Thomas Edward (wife, Darleen) Long of Franklin; three daughters, Linda (husband, Kelly) Ryan, Kim (husband, Jeff) Moeller and Robin (husband, Mike) Fromme, all of Franklin; eight grandchildren; a brother, Roy Long of Waverly; two sisters, Myrtle Hendricker of Shelbina, Mo., and Marjorie (husband, Duke) White of Franklin; and companion, Vi Drennan of Springfield.

Remains will be cremated.

Graveside services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville.

Neece Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
