Elizabeth Meyers Dies Saturday At Daughter's Home

Funeral Services For Aged Woman Will be Held Monday Afternoon

Franklin, Sept. 28 - Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Meyers, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Miner, nine miles south of Franklin, Saturday morning, at 10:40 o'clock at the age of 92 years.

She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Dennis.

Mrs. Meyers is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Grace Cain, Murrayville; Mrs. Claude Stiner, Greenfield; Mrs. Perry Dickerson, Roodhouse, and Mrs. Carrie Miner of near Franklin; two sons, J. W. Whitlock, Meredosia and Henry Whitlock, Murrayville; one brother, W. L. Dennis, Jacksonville and one sister, Mrs. William Samples, Waverly. She also leaves 37 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Youngblood Baptist church, Nortonville, with Rev. James Preston officiating. Interment will be in Youngblood Cemetery.
