John S. Miller Dead

John S. Miller, who was for many years a resident of the Nortonville community, died at the Passavant hospital Sunday. In recent years he had been employed at the Jacksonville State Hospital. His wife, Nell Edwards Miller, died in 1921, and he is survived by two children, Russel N. Miller, of Alton, and Mrs. Ray L. Hayes, of Jacksonville. Funeral services were held at Youngblood Baptist church at Nortonville Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in Youngblood cemetery, conducted by members of Scottville Masonic Lodge.
