Mary Elizabeth Myers, 81, of Bloomington, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Normal.

She was born Dec. 10, 1917, in Nortonville, the daughter of Ezra and Janie Mason Chaudoin. She married Eddie Myers and he preceded her in death in January 1997.

She is survived by one son, John (wife, Wanda) Howard of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Dorothy (husband, Joe) Hileman of Bloomington, and Mary Ray (husband, Jerry) Beaty of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Millie Witherbee of Champaign, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers, William, Earl, Lloyd, (surviving wife, Florence of Texas), Monroe, Ralph, Samuel (surviving wife, Louise of Franklin), George (surviving wife, Ruth of Jacksonville); and one sister, Clara Chaudoin.

She worked at Norris Hospital for more than 20 years.

Funeral services were held at Youngblood Baptist Cemetery in Nortonville on July 31, 1999, with the Rev. Loramae Rentfro officiating. The Carmondy-Flynn Funeral Home Ltd. in Bloomington was in charge of arrangements.
