Steven Lee Probst

PALMYRA - Steven Lee Probst, 28, of Greenfield, died as a result of injuries after an auto accident Wednesday morning, March 11, 1992, south of Rockbridge.

He was born March 27, 1963, in Jacksonville, a son of Marshall and Linda White. He married Mary Sonneborn on Dec. 14, 1985, in Greenfield. She survives at home.

He is survived by one daughter, Cassie Lynn at home; three sons, David Lee at home and Daniel and Adam of Greenfield; one stepson, Brandon Michael of Carrollton; his parents of Athensville; one brother, Wayne Decker Jr. of Jacksonville; three sisters, Lisa Brogdon of Jacksonville, Teresa Beddingfield of Athensville and Robin Decker of Jacksonville; his grandmothers, Mary McNeece of Greenfield and Opal White of Scottville; two aunts; and one uncle.

Mr. Probst was a carpenter and did construction work.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stults-Neece Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
