Lionel A. Seymour
Lionel A. "Pete" Seymour, 90, of Nortonville died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1994, at his residence.
He was born July 4, 1904, in the Hartland Community, the son of Arthur and Anne Lockwood Seymour. He married Mable Jones on May 2, 1928, She died March 13, 1991.
He is survived by one nephew and two nieces who were raised in the home, Lawrence Jones of Nortonville and Donna Grinkey and Rae (husband Bob) VanBebber, both of Murrayville; and six great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Seymour lived on the same farm in Nortonville community his entire life. He operated a garage there for 50 years. He was District 12 Road Commissioner for 12 years. He was a member of Jacksonville Harmony Lodge 3, A.F. & A.M. and Youngblood Baptist church.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Youngblood Baptist Church in Nortonville, with burial at Youngblood Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at Williamson Funeral Home, with family meeting friends 6-8 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to services Wednesday. Masonic rites will be 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Youngblood Cemetery.
