STEELE

Mrs. Mary Steele died Friday, morning about 7 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Ferguson, in the Markham neighborhood at the age of 92 years and 7 months of age. Mrs. Steele had lived in this county about sixty years. Her maiden name was Burke, and her husband died about thirty years ago. Although she reached the extreme age of 92 years, her mind remained clear, and she always retained an active interest in current events.

The deceased is survived by a son, Arthur Steele, of Wichita, Kan., and two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Ferguson and Miss Jane Steele, of Markham.

Funeral services will be held in Nortonville Sunday morning. Interment will be in Nortonville cemetery.
