FRANK VEDDER

Frank Vedder, 88, of rural Nortonville died Sunday, March 5, 1978, at Skyview Nursing Manor in Jacksonville.

He was born August 29, 1889, in Illinois, son of Joseph and Frona Schneider Vedder. He married Lula Belle Caldwell in 1921. She preceded him in death in 1971.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Wilson of Carlinville, Mrs. Frances Jackson of Murrayville and Mrs. Bonnie Orris of rural Franklin, and two sons, Joseph Vedder and William Vedder, both of rural Murrayville.

There are 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A brother, Jess Vedder of Jacksonville survives.

Mr. Vedder was a retired farmer and a veteran of WW One.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Youngblood Baptist church in Nortonville. Interment was in Youngblood Cemetery.

Rev. Olan Boullard officiated at services. Pall bearers were Billy Joe Orris, Billy Frank Vedder, Vernon Vedder, Mark Vedder, Virgil Vedder, Harvey Crow. Honorary pall bearers were Claude Bolton, and Henry Cruse.
