Larry White, 40, dies Saturday
PALMYRA - Larry L. White, 40, of R.R. 2, Palmyra, died Saturday evening, June 15, 1991, from injuries sustained in a hunting accident.
He was born April 17, 1951, in Scottville, the son of Joseph and Opal McCan White. He married Jean Lonergan on March 30, 1990, in Palmyra.
He is survived by his wife of R.R. 2, Palmyra; his mother of Scottville; one daughter, Rebecca Ann White at home; two sons, Joseph Larry White of Jacksonville and Jacob Daniel White at home; five sisters, Josephine Barksdale of Anchorage, Alaska, Catherine Powell of Springfield, Caroline Curl of Roodhouse, Rosella Stewart of Palmyra and Donna Mitchell of Roodhouse; and seven brothers, James H. White of Waverly, Leonard White of Berlin, Joe White of Roodhouse, Albert White of Palmyra, Hal White of Scottville, Marshall White of Athensville and George Allen White of Scottville. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth White and Margaret Irene Wood.
Mr. White was a farmer and a member of the Terry Park Saddle Club at Palmyra.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Stults-Neece Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial at Youngblood Cemetery at Nortonville. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
