Helen L. Broch
Helen Louise Broch, 80, of Springfield died Tuesday at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Nov. 27, 1916, in Springfield, the daughter of Karl and Wilhelmina Schiena Skoda. She married Virgil Broch in 1936.
Mrs. Broch, a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, was employed as an admitting clerk at St. John's Hospital until her retirement in 1985.
Survivors: Husband, Virgil; two sons Richard Brock of Gilbert, Ariz., and Jim Broch of Greenview; a daughter, Janet Cycholl of Flora; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Skoda of Springfield and Edward Skoda of Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Gertrude Nesbitt of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 3 p.m. Saturday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Jerene Houser officiating. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Monday, Camp Butler National Cemetery.
