Services for Mrs. Edna W. Douglas, life resident of New Douglas, will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Immanuel Lutheran church there, Rev. N.A. Schott officiating. Burial will be in New Douglas Cemetery.
Friends may call at Lesicko Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 until 9 p.m.
Mrs. Douglas, 79 last July 20, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock in the Brokaw Hospital at Normal. She had resided in the Good Samaritan home at Flannigan, IL, since last Dec. 3.
Born at New Douglas, daughter of the late August and Emma Budde Prange, she married Robert O. Douglas there on Oct. 30, 1921. He died July 24, 1962.
Mrs. Douglas was a member of the Women's Association of Immanuel Lutheran Church at New Douglas.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Gilpin of Pekin, and four grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Milton Prange of St. Jacob, IL and a sister, Miss Lillie Prange, residing in the Good Samaritan Home at Flannigan.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Charles, Walter, Edwin and Alvin Prange.
