Mrs. Della LaVern King
August 24, 1980Mrs. Della LaVern King of Chandlerville died Sunday at Passavant Hospital. She was 90 years of age.
Mrs. King was born at Chandlerville June 27, 1890, daughter of David and Patience Fanning Shelton. She married Arthur King and he preceded her in death in 1962.
Two daughters survive; Mrs. Otto (Florence) Sarf of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Mrs. Edna Mae Gasper, Chandlerville. There are two grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. One grandson precedin her in death.
The deceased was a member of the RNA, American Legion Auxiliary and Chandlerville Christian Church to which memorials are suggested.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home with interment to be in Chandlerville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening.
