HENRY D. RADLEY
The Nelson Gazette, Nelson, Nebraska, November 2, 1933

Henry D. Radley was born in Morgan County, Illinois, January 29, 1841, and departed from this life October 26, 1933, at the age of 92 years, 8 months, and 27 days. At the ate of 19 years he enlisted in the Civil War, serving three years and nine months. At the close of the war he received an honorable discharge, after serving as First Sargent of Battery K 2nd Regiment of Illinois Light Artillery.

On January 2, 1868 he was united in marriage to Margrette Frances Rimbey who preceded him in death on July 20, 1896. To this union, two daughters were born: Mrs. E. A. Thomas of Hastings, Nebr.; and Mrs. Bert Burd of Prairie View, Kansas.

Mr. Radley passed away at the home of his youngest daughter, Mrs. Kate Burd, where he has made his home almost continuously for the past thirty years. Besides the daughters; he leaves to mourn his departure, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a niece, and a nephew.

MARGARET F. (RIMBEY) RADLEY

Died - At her home six miles northeast of Nelson, Mrs. Henry Radley, aged forty-seven years. Rev. A. M. Perry conducted the funeral exercises at the house, after which interment was made in the Ox Bow Cemetery. Deceased was one of the early settlers in this country. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn the loss of a dear companion and loving mother.

[Mrs. Margaret F. Radley died July 20, 1896, at her home six miles northeast of Nelson, NE. Mrs. Radley was forty seven years. She was the daughter of Emmanuel and Mary Ann Rimbey, living in Murrayville, IL.

Rev. A. M. Perry conducted the funeral exercises at the home, after which interment was made in the Ox-Bow Cemetery. Deceased was one of the early settlers in this country. She leaves a husband and two daughters to mourn the loss of a dear companion and loving mother.]
