Carlyle Hall (1875-1975), son of James Newton and Emeiline Pestel Hall. Married Stella Potter in 1904. Moved westward from Athens, Illinois to Utah, then Seattle but lived his final years in Springfield, Illinois. He received nation-wide publicity about a series of unusual daily exercises he practiced to which he attributed his longevity and good health.
