Information herein was obtained from onsite tombstone readings, photographs, cemetery and funeral home records as well as my personal knowledge and relationship to some of the families. Publications of this cemetery were made by the Decatur Area Genealogical Society and later the Sangamon County Genealogical Society, both of whom have the publication for sale. My readings were compared with these previous readings in order to verify, compare and correct. Due to the age of some of the stones, it is sometimes difficult to get a correct reading or photograph.
