BRUCE SATTLEY
Bruce R. Stattley, 83, of 2595 E. Olive St. (Decatur?) died at 2:55 p.m. Saturday in Americana Nursing Center. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in J. J. Moran & sons Funeral Home, with visitation 4 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis. Memorials: Americana Nursing Center or Central United Methodist Church.

Mr. Stattley was born in Illiopolis, son of Robert and Rhena Sattley. He was a retired foreman in the plating room of Decatur Brass Works and was a member of the Central United Methodist Church. He married Bessie C. Davey in 1911. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are sons, Charles and Richard, both of Decatur; daughters, Miss Mary Sattley of Decatur; Mrs. Hubert (Pricilla) Gerhardt of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Mrs. John (Marie) Warnick of Decatur; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Two sons and six brothers preceded him in death.
