MRS.PHILIP SCHULP, 63, DIES IN INDIANA HOSPITAL
Mrs. Philip (Ruth F.) Schulp, 63, formerly of Illiopolis, died Sunday in a hospital in Logansport, Ind. She had been ill for several years.Mrs. Schulp was born Feb. 27, 1904, in Illiopolis, a duaghter of B. N. and Elizabeth Lucas Foster.
Mrs. Schulp was a graduate of Illiopolis High School and attended Illinois College in Jacksonville.She graduated as a Laboratory Technician from Decatur and Macon County Hospital and for many years she owned and operated Doctors' Laboratory in Hammond, Ind.
She married Philip Schulp June 18, 1928, in Niantic.She leaves a son, Philip P. of Hazelcrest; three sisters, Mrs. John (Clara) Douglas, Illiopolis; Mrs. Bryan (Erma) Spencer, Niantic; Mrs. Joe (Mary) Brinocar, Auburn; five brothers, James D., Princeville; Homer E., Holmes Beach, Fla.; La Mar P., West Branch, Iowa; Harold B., Coffeyville, Kas.; and Chester M., Sinclair, Wyo.; and two grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Illiopolis, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
