Above census is only resource found in Sangamon County. However I did preliminary research in Indiana and found the following 1860 Indiana census:
CASNER, William 34 IN - Posey County, City of Mt. Vernon
CASNER, Angeline H. 23 MA, Posey County, City of Mt. Vernon
SPANN, Nancy C. 32 IN, Posey County, City of Mt. Vernon
SPANN, William T. 6 IN, Posey County, City of Mt. Vernon
This census would indicate that N. C. Douglas listed above in 1870 Sangamon County is probably William's mother, remarried and possibly a widow. William's father is not listed with them in 1860 in Indiana.
